Part of Sony’s revamped PlayStation Plus service saw the console maker release a bunch of classic PS1/2 titles to its Premium subscription. Fortunately, you don’t have to be a PS Plus member to enjoy these games, as Sony has now made a few of the most popular titles available to purchase directly, including Dino Crisis and Resident Evil.
As discovered by ResetEra user Mezoly, the PS Classics version of the Capcom-published titles Resident Evil: Director’s Cut and Dino Crisis are no longer shackled exclusively to PlayStation Plus’ Premium tier.
Instead, those who wish to own either of these two classics can simply go to the PlayStation Store to purchase them directly.
Both Dino Crisis and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut can be had for £7.99 each and should remain available and playable in your library for as long as the PlayStation Network exists.
With Sony beginning to bring more PlayStation classics over from its Premium PS Plus tier, hopefully the floodgates are fully opened sooner rather than later.
KitGuru says: Are you glad to see both these games purchasable directly? Is PS Plus Premium worth it? What other PSOne games would you like to see added to the store next? Let us know down below.
