Xbox’s Corporate Vice President seemingly teases Elden Ring coming to Game Pass

One of the biggest games of 2022 was undoubtedly Elden Ring. Having sold more than 20 million copies, it is safe to assume that a majority of FromSoftware fans have purchased and played the game. That said, for those who have yet to try Elden Ring, the game is seemingly set to come to Xbox Game Pass.

Sarah Bond, the Corporate Vice President for ‘Game Creator Experience and Ecosystem’ at Xbox took to Twitter to offer a cryptic tweet consisting of an old person emoji and a diamond ring alongside the hashtag ‘#Xbox’. Following this up, Bond confirmed the game being teased was Elden Ring – though offered no further context on what the tweets were indicating.

This has led to some fans believing that Elden Ring could soon find its way onto Xbox Game Pass. With more than 20 million copies sold, the game has likely seen a majority of its sales take place already – meaning it would be an appropriate time for the game to drop onto Microsoft’s service. Despite being more than a year old its inclusion in Game Pass would be a major boon for the service, especially as the game is confirmed to be getting DLC at some point.

Of course, Elden Ring coming to Game Pass is mere speculation, and so the Tweets should be taken with a pinch of salt. That said, its addition to Game Pass would be exciting indeed.
