Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 officially announced

Over the past month we’ve heard an increasing number of leaks and rumours hinting at the return of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series with THPS 3+4. Following a teaser from Activision, the publisher has now officially announced and dated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 – coming this July.

Making the announcement, the team wrote: “Get hyped for the legendary franchise to return with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more.”

Launching on the 11th of July, this remake is being developed by Iron Galaxy studios, known for their work on a bunch of ports, including the PC version of THPS 1+2. Unfortunately however, this does mean that the team behind the original THPS 1+2 – Vicarious Visions – are not involved in this project.

Coming to PlayStation 4/5; Xbox One/Series, PC and the Switch (alongside Game Pass Ultimate), Pro Skater 3+4 will cost £39.99 for the standard cross-gen version, with the Deluxe Edition upping the price to £59.99 while netting you 3 days of early access’ a bunch of bonus skins’ and even a Doom Slayer skater option.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 was an excellent remake of these classic titles, and so hopefully THPS 3+4 is able to match its quality.
