Steam Award winner ‘Dave the Diver’ is coming to PlayStation Plus

Dave the Diver is a “casual, singleplayer adventure RPG featuring deep-sea exploration and fishing during the day and sushi restaurant management at night”. Released last year, the title received wide acclaim for its chill nature, comedic chops and satisfying gameplay loop. Previously exclusive to PC and Switch, Dave the Diver is coming to PlayStation (as well as PS+) in just a few weeks.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation blog, Studio MINTROCKET said “Greetings. I’m Jaeho Hwang, the director and game designer behind Dave the Diver. I’m excited to bring Dave the Diver to PlayStation 5 on April 16, expanding the game’s horizons and inviting more players through the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.”

Featuring an abundance of surprising and comedic mini games, Dave the Diver offers a rather unique experience. This will be even more so the case in May when the Godzilla update drops.

While the game may not have been available on PlayStation from the get-go, it is exciting to see the title finally arriving – and on PlayStation Plus Extra no less, meaning millions can try Dave the Diver when it launches on the 16th of April.
