Revenge of the Savage Planet arrives this May

Journey to the Savage Planet is a fun and unique first person shooter which sees you explore a number of wonderful and weird worlds while offering solid gameplay to boot. Released back in 2020, a sequel was announced in the form of Revenge of the Savage Planet last year. Launching just 6 months after its reveal, the sequel is set to arrive this May.

As part of the recent ID@Xbox Showcase, the team behind the original game (though under the new name Racoon Logic) have officially confirmed that Revenge of the Savage Planet will be launching in just a couple months on the 8th of May.

For the uninitiated, Revenge of the Savage Planet is described as “an upbeat, satirical action adventure Sci-Fi. Jump, shoot and collect your way across vibrant alien worlds, uncovering new gear and upgrades, while discovering various hidden secrets.”

While the satirical nature of the game was somewhat hit-or-miss, the first entry in the series featured a fun and compelling gameplay loop which dished out new weapons and abilities at a solid rate – making for a fun and continuously interesting open-zone action-platformer.

Hopefully Revenge of the Savage Planet proves to be just as good as the first game.
