Life is Strange Double Exposure comes to Switch later today

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is the latest entry in the much-loved LiS series. Marking the return of the first game’s protagonist Max Caulfield, Double Exposure came to PlayStation, Xbox and PC late last month. Following a short gap, the game is now set to drop onto the Nintendo Switch later today.

Making the announcement via a press release, the teams at Square Enix and Deck Nine Games shared that “the digital version of LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE will launch for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 19, with the Nintendo Switch physical edition to follow on Jan. 28, 2025.”

Unlike the other versions of the game, Double Exposure on Switch was co-developed by Engine Software alongside Deck Nine Games – with the former being known for its porting work – in particular on the Switch.

As such, hopefully Life is Strange: Double Exposure on the Switch will be a competent port (though given the fact that the system is on its last legs, we will have to see).

As mentioned, Double Exposure is also set to get a physical release early next year, and for those who do prefer owning hard copies of games, the full title will be included on a single 16GB cartridge, meaning you shouldn’t have to worry about patching or updating the game when you buy it.

In case you missed it, Life is Strange: Double Exposure was recently nominated for a couple Game Awards, including ‘Best Performance’ and ‘Games for Impact’. The full list of nominees can be found HERE.
