Killing Floor 3 releases in March 2025

The Killing Floor series has grown from humble beginnings to becoming a massive and well-loved round-based co-op Zombie shooter – not too dissimilar to the likes of Call of Duty Zombies. 8 years on from the release of the highly-supported Killing Floor 2, a 3rd entry is finally launching in just a few months.

First announced back in August of last year, Killing Floor 3 received some pretty big news during The Game Awards, confirming both the game’s release month as well as an upcoming closed beta test.

While no exact timing has been shared regarding when the beta will go live, those interested can sign up for the waitlist right now. That said, if you’d rather wait for the full release, it shouldn’t be too far behind, as Killing Floor 3 is set to officially launch in March of 2025.

One other neat tidbit of information shared was the fact that the game will include full crossplay support between all systems right from launch. While somewhat expected in today’s day and age, the confirmation is still nice to see.

With Activision recently seeing backlash for using AI across Black Ops 6, those looking for an alternate co-op zombie survival shooter will have plenty to bite into when Killing Floor 3 arrives in just a few months.
