High on Life shadowdrops onto PlayStation

In December of last year Squanch Games released High on Life as an Xbox console exclusive – arriving day-one on Game Pass. Following an update to the PlayStation Network’s backend with a package titled ‘High on Life’ the comedic FPS has now been officially announced for PlayStation.

Shadow-dropping the game onto PlayStation, Squanch Games’ lead designer Andy Vatter spoke on the announcement via Twitter, saying “HEY HUGE NEWS! I CAN TALK ABOUT IT FINALLY HIGH ON LIFE IS ON PLAYSTATION RIGHT NOW,” with the dev adding that “I don't have an Xbox so this is differently exciting from the last launch!”

Priced at £49.99, High on Life has come to both PlayStation 5 and PS4, and is also PS4 Pro enhanced. While no specifics were shared, the game is confirmed to support the DualSense’s haptics and adaptive triggers.

While the game feels somewhat tainted due to its heavy association with Justin Roiland, High on Life remains a ‘highly’ fun time and so for those who have yet to try the game, its arrival on PlayStation presents an opportune time to do so.

KitGuru says: What do you think of High on Life? Were you waiting for it to come to PlayStation? What would you like to see them do with the upcoming DLC? Let us know down below.
