HBO’s The Last of Us receives 24 Emmy nominations

The premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation earlier this year was met with an equal amount of critical and commercial success, managing to break all manner of records. The show seems to have resonated with viewers across the board as HBO’s The Last of Us has received a massive 24 Emmy nominations.

The full list of nominations for the annual Emmy Awards has now been published revealing that HBO’s The Last of Us has managed to amass an impressive 24 nominations – including for the all-prestigious ‘best drama’ category.

The Last of Us seems to be going from strength to strength, and with the commercial success now being equally matched by its critical praise, it will be interesting to see how the franchise evolves from here on.
