3 more titles coming to Xbox Game Pass Core

As part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass revamp last year, the console manufacturer unveiled a new tier of its subscription service. Replacing Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass Core offers console owners the ability to play games online as well as giving access to a limited line-up of games. Four months on from the last update, 3 new titles are set to join Game Pass Core.

Making the announcement on the Xbox Wire blog, Megan Spurr – the Senior Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass revealed the next line-up of games joining the service, saying: “Welcome back, friends! We have more games for you, new Perks, and a limited time beta to talk about!”

With that, the list of titles set to join Game Pass over the next few weeks is as follows:

  • Atlas Fallen (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 22
  • Core Keeper (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 27
  • Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Early Access Beta – August 30
  • Star Trucker (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 3 [Day One Addition]

As mentioned, the relatively-limited Xbox Game Pass Core library has also gotten a small boost, with the 2nd of its tri-annual updates bringing 3 additional titles later today:

  • Cities: Skylines
  • Control: Ultimate Edition
  • SnowRunner

Unfortunately, as always, Microsoft giveth and Microsoft taketh away – with 3 titles also set to leave the regular Game Pass service on the 31st of August:

  • Atomic Heart (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Guilty Gear -Strive- (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • NBA 2K24 (Cloud and Console)
