Each month, Sony updates its PlayStation Plus subscription service with a suite of new and sometimes returning games. Unfortunately, the console maker also removes titles on a consistent basis. With August’s PS Plus line-up available to check out, Sony has now confirmed that 10 titles in total will be departing next month.
In going to the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on your PlayStation 5, you’ll find a list of 10 titles which are set to be removed from PS Plus Extra / Premium some time next month (likely in mid-September):
- EA Sports Madden NFL 26
- Persona 5 Tactica
- Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII
- Toukiden 2
- Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back
- Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (PS1 ver)
- Toy Story 3 (PSP ver)
- Shadowrun Returns
- Shadowrun Hong Kong – Extended Edition
- Shadowrun Dragonfall – Directors Cut
While far from the most disappointing of months, it is interesting to see a number of PlayStation Plus Premium classics being removed – a practice not seen often on the platform.
That said, this may be due to the fact that a compilation of classic Toy Story games are set to be re-released via a ‘Retro Roundup’ collection later this year.
Either way, you have a little under a month to check the above games out before they are removed from the service. August’s PS Plus additions can be found HERE.
