Tomb Raider headlines new wave of Xbox Game Pass titles

The first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for May 2024 have been announced. Unfortunately, it is a pretty minimal update this time around, featuring just four games.

The headlining game in this update is Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which is very old at this point. Still, if you've never played it, or don't own it on PC or Xbox, then it is now available through Game Pass, so feel free to dive in. While the game is old, the whole modern Tomb Raider trilogy is fantastic, with the first game in particular being a highlight with its action-packed campaign centred on a mysterious island cult.

Here is the full list of titles coming to Game Pass over the next couple of weeks:

  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console and PC) – May 2nd
  • Kona II: Brume (Cloud, Console and PC) – May 7th
  • Little Kitty, Big City: Cloud, Console and PC) – May 9th
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (Cloud, Console and PC) – May 14th

On the 15th of May, eight games will be leaving Game Pass, including; Eastern Exorcist, Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, Ghostlore, Just Cause 4, Norco, SD Gundam Battle Alliance and Supraland Six Inches Under.

KitGuru Says: May is an odd month in the yearly calendar for Game Pass, as Microsoft likes to save the biggest announcements for its annual Xbox Showcase in June.
