Edifier S2000 Pro 2.0 Speaker Review

To kick off the unboxing section of this review, we'll start off with a rundown of what comes in the box, starting with cables/accessories and then moving on to the speakers themselves.

Accessory-wise, the Edifier S2000 Pro speakers come with a full sized remote, an optical cable, an AUX cable and an RCA cable, so you'll be able to use your preferred input. These speakers also come with built-in Bluetooth so you can also stream music wirelessly from another device.

The picture on the right shows the connection cable for the left and right speaker, which measures in at 5-meters long.

The speakers themselves are rather large, measuring in at 8in x 13.5in x 10.5in, but still fit within the bookshelf class. There is wood panelling on the sides and you get a removable fine mesh dust cover for the front. The right speaker unit has a small display on it, sat just below the 5.5in driver, which will tell you what input the speakers are currently set to.

As you can see, the back of the left speaker is plain, with just one port for the connection cable as well as a bass port at the top of the unit. The back of the right speaker is where all of the main inputs are, in addition to the treble, bass and volume dials.

In all, these speakers look clean and sophisticated. Each cabinet feels solid and the wood panelling definitely add something extra. The tweeters are protected well by a grill and the speaker covers are easy to pop on and off. They certainly look and feel like £400+ speakers.
