Asus Transformer Pad TF300T Android Tablet Review

Camera Application

The camera application is quite basic and features a large panel on the right hand side which covers almost a quarter of the screen.  The controls are logically laid out and take the form of a main circular dial which features the shutter button in the middle with the other options around the outside including (digital) zoom and a button to bring up the camera settings.

There is also a button which switches between the front and rear facing cameras here.

At the  bottom of this panel there are three buttons to switch between the different capture modes.  These are still photo, video and panorama.

There is also a small icon at the top of the screen which gives us direct access to the gallery.  Overall the camera application is quite basic and doesn't feature the same full compliment of configurable settings as the latest smartphones.  But this isn't really an issue for a tablet as the camera is far from a key feature.

As you can see from the samples above, neither camera is going to win any awards for photo quality but they will suffice for most tablet users.

  1. great looking tablet computer. I love it. I have owned one now for a few months and cant be without it.

  2. Im not so keen on these, they are a botched job. people either want a tablet or a laptop, not both in this hybrid design. just my 2 cents
