We tested the Asus Transformer Pad TF300T with a wide selection of video file types. Using the standard media player, we were able to play most files without issue. However, the standard player wasn’t capable of selecting the correct audio track on our .MKV test file so we were forced to download MX Player which worked perfectly.
Flash video online was also rendered perfectly without any stuttering or drops in framerate.
The included music player is comprehensive and contains all the features we would expect. The interface reminds us a lot of Apple’s cover flow interface which lets us flick through a set of album covers to select the appropriate songs.
Audio quality is exactly what we would expect from a tablet. The Transformer Pad isn’t going to win any awards for sound quality but it’s perfectly adequate for listening to a few albums or hooking up to your stereo or a set of external speakers.
great looking tablet computer. I love it. I have owned one now for a few months and cant be without it.
Im not so keen on these, they are a botched job. people either want a tablet or a laptop, not both in this hybrid design. just my 2 cents
