Asus supply the TF300T in a stylish cardboard box that uses the same two part design that Apple use for the iPhone and iPad boxes. The livery is very minimalistic in design and features a large photo of the tablet on the top and a side on photo of the tablet on the front of the box.
The box itself seems durable and should provide the tablet inside a good level of protection in transit. As you may have deduced from our photos, our sample looks like it received a good battering in transit but thankfully the tablet remained undamaged inside. We hope that most retailers would opt for an external box, rather than a flimsy polythene bag for shipping, to prevent damage like this.
To access the bundled accessories we first have to remove the tablet and keyboard dock from the box. Underneath we find a USB cable, an AC adapter and a cleaning cloth alongside the user’s manual and warranty card.
great looking tablet computer. I love it. I have owned one now for a few months and cant be without it.
Im not so keen on these, they are a botched job. people either want a tablet or a laptop, not both in this hybrid design. just my 2 cents
