1MORE Triple Driver H1707 Over-Ear Headphones Review

For £180, the 1MORE Triple Driver (H1707) headphone offers good looks, a portable design and a smooth, listenable sound.

It is a well-built headphone, with aluminium alloy ear cups and a stainless steel headband, and despite the fact that it is foldable it does not feel flimsy at all.

It does become apparent that the Triple Driver is a bit smaller than other over-ear headphones, though – the round ear cups definitely sit on your ears in some parts, rather than other headphones which sit around the ears.

I find my ears get quite hot with on-ear designs, while the relatively thin ear cushions also meant my ears would press against the driver housing on the inside of the ear cups. This won't be a problem for everyone – it really depends on your head/ear size – but it is worth noting.

In terms of the sound of the headphone, it is very easy on the ears. It's a warm-sounding headphone, with prominent – but still tight and controlled – bass, while the treble retains detail without being harsh. It's a very smooth sounding headphone. I can't help but feel the mid range is just lacking a bit of vibrancy and intimacy, but it is not anaemic and you could go for hours without encountering any fatigue with the Triple Driver.

Overall, that makes them a good buy at £179.99. I wouldn't say there's a ‘wow factor' about the 1MORE Triple Driver (H1707) but the sound is easy going, the headphone is portable and is also very well-built.
