1MORE Triple Driver H1707 Over-Ear Headphones Review

The 1MORE Triple Driver (H1707) ships in a simple-looking black box, with a photo of the headphone visible on the front.

Inside that black box we find a second, much stiffer box with some 1MORE branding on the front.

Opening this second box reveals the headphones' included hard shell carry case, a very nice addition considering the £180 price point.

In terms of included accessories, the Triple Driver headphone comes with 1x detachable cable and 1x 3.5mm-to-6.35mm jack adapter. The cable is braided, made from oxygen-free copper and actually sports a Kevlar core. It also measures 1.35m long. Lastly, it uses 2x 2.5mm TRS jacks to connect to each ear cup and terminates in a single 3.5mm jack.

Coming to the headphone itself, the Triple Driver is a relatively compact piece of kit, and this is only furthered by the fact that it sports a foldable design so you can pack it down and easily take it around with you.

At 293g, the Triple Driver is not a heavy headphone, but it does not feel insubstantial either. This is due to the mainly metal construction, with an anodised aluminium alloy being used for the ear cups, while the headband is made from stainless steel.

Moving in for a closer look, we'll start with the ear cups. As I mentioned, these use an aluminium alloy on the back of the cups, which looks and feels great. The rear design is also quite eye-catching and looks somewhat like a car wheel. Just in case you were wondering, the Triple Driver is very much a closed-back headphone.

On the inside, we get a look at the leather ear cushions, with each one labelled ‘L' or ‘R'. In terms of the ear cup size, the Triple Driver does sport relatively small cups and ear cushions, so while it is supposedly an over-ear design, it won't sit completely around your ear.

Elsewhere, the headband slider looks like it is made from brushed aluminium, and it expands with very distinct steps, making it easy to get the size you want. There are no printed size markings on the slider, though.

Around the stainless steel headband, 1MORE has provided about half an inch of leather padding, while there is also some silver trim either side of this headband which matches the aluminium ear cups nicely. Lastly, the 1MORE logo is printed on the top of the headband.
