IKEA and ASUS ROG co-designed furniture images leaked

Back in 2020, Asus and IKEA announced a partnership to design gaming furniture. Although the first piece of the gaming line of products is scheduled to be announced on January 29th, Ikea has uploaded the images of most products to the website, leaking the line-up early.

The pictures shared by @momomo_us and @iamgotta seems to show most of the products from Ikea and Asus line of gaming furniture. Most of the products are ROG-themed, featuring ROG logos and LEDs, and are coloured in black, grey, or white with red or blue accents.

As per the pictures, Ikea will launch 3x gaming chairs. One is black and has a meshed back and red iron arms. There's another black chair that looks more similar to the usual gaming chair, using PU black leather and blue stitching. The last chair seems to feature a more ergonomic design, coloured in white with blue accents.

There will also be 3x gaming desk models – one comes in black with either red or blue accents, and another could either be black or white and the height can be manually adjusted. The last gaming desk looks very similar to Ikea Skarsta stand/sit desk, but comes in black and with ROG-themed legs and a controller to adjust the height.

Besides the gaming desks and chairs, there's also a gaming floor mat, pegboards with LEDs, and a chest of drawers. Other pieces belonging to this line of products include a cup holder, a transformative pillow, headset holders, a mousepad, a poster, a LED light ring, and a movable computer base.

The pricing of some of these products has been revealed within the pictures. For example, the Uppspel chest of drawers will be priced at ¥599 (£67.58), the Uppspel pegboard at ¥198 (£22.34), and the Uppspel gaming desk at ¥3999 (£451.19).

KitGuru says: For now, most of this stuff is going to be sold in China, but there is a chance that some of it makes its way to western markets. What do you all think of Asus's collaboration with Ikea? Is there anything here you would buy?
