Corsair has introduced and new range of Void Elite and HS Pro headsets

Corsair has unveiled a new range of updated Void and HS series headsets – the Void Elite and HS Pro are said to offer updates to the series with improved audio, microphones and comfort.

The Corsair Void family of headsets has been around for some time now, so Corsair has introduced a new addition to the range. The Void Elite features new, custom-tuned 50mm neodymium audio drivers with an expected frequency range of 20Hz-30,000Hz, which Corsair says have been designed from the ground up to produce stunning clarity and booming bass, with 7.1 surround sound.

Corsair has paired all these new features with a completely redesigned Discord-certified omnidirectional microphone for outstanding voice clarity. Plush memory foam ear cups and headband have been added into the Void Elite design to create a comfortable listening experience. “Void Elite headsets combine the performance, quality, and features that gamers demand with iconic design that stands out from the crowd”, according to Corsair.

Several headsets are available from the Void Elite series, offering a range of connectivity options. The Void Elite Wireless are both PC and PS4 2.4GHz compatible with a range of 40ft and 16 hours battery life, featuring dynamic RGB lighting to the ear cups. The Void Elite USB can be connected directly to the PC via USB cable and also feature RGB lighting which can be controlled with Corsair iCue software to adjust lighting colours and patterns.

Launching alongside the Void Elite is the Corsair HS Pro series, including the HS50 Pro Stereo, HS60 Pro Surround and HS70 Pro Wireless versions. Like the Void Elite, the new HS Pro series offers similar updates to performance and comfort.

The HS Pro series again features Corsair’s 50mm neodymium drivers with an updated unidirectional detachable microphone, for clear and convenient voice communication. “HS PRO headsets offer great audio whether you’re listening to music, movies, or communicating with teammates in the heat of battle”, according to Corsair.

Corsair’s HS Pro series features updated form-fitting memory foam padding to the ear cups for comfort during long term use, alongside a premium build quality with rigid aluminium yokes and a metal internal headband.

The HS Pro series offers three choices; a low-latency 2.4GHz HS70 Pro Wireless version, with the same 40ft range and 16 hour battery life as the Void Elite Wireless, an HS60 Pro Surround featuring multi-platform connectivity and 3.5mm gold-plated connectors, or the HS50 Pro Stereo which should be compatible with almost every platform with a universal 3.5mm socket.

Finally, the HS45 Surround is Corsair’s latest addition to the HS series, offering multi-platform connectivity and retains all of the features from the HS35, such as a 3.5mm connection, durable lightweight construction, a detachable unidirectional mic and adjustable ear cups with memory foam padding. In addition to those features, the HS45 has been updated with 7.1 surround sound when connected to a PC via the included USB adaptor.

The Corsair Void Elite series, HS Pro series, and HS45 are available immediately from the Corsair webstore and the Corsair worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors.

KitGuru says: This new line up of headsets from Corsair offers users a good range to choose from. Whether you are a PC or PS4 gamer, or just want to listen to some music, Corsair has got your back.
