Win a 32″ Philips Ultra HD Professional Display worth £900!

Philips started making screens many years ago, so they know a thing or two about imaging. Professional monitors need a strong focus on colour fidelity and image clarity – while at the same time ensuring that the design/technologies being used are as ergonomic as possible.  KitGuru has teamed up with MMD Philips Monitors to give one lucky reader the chance to win a a BDM3275UP screen, complete with MultiView, that normally retails for £900!

In terms of pure screen real estate, very few monitors offer more than this 32″ IPS-AHVA wide view panel, with viewing angles up to 178 degrees. Images are processed internally using 12-bit colour and displayed using 10-bit precision, so this monitor can deliver over 1 billion colours per pixel. That's 64 times more that the 16.8 million colours offered by ‘True Color'.

The Philips SmartErgoBase lets you position the screen for maximum comfort – with height and rotation adjustment – and eye strain is reduced through Flicker-Free technology.

Start-up companies bring together bright, innovative people with great ideas, but – normally – they have to begin working in cramped environments with laptops/older monitors. MMD Philips Monitors wanted to help release the energy and creativity of several start-ups in Berlin – so they made the latest professional technologies available to them, free of charge.

Four of them made videos about how they are working with Philips technologies – their stories are on this page (when you scroll down).

In one of the videos, a Start-Up spokesperson reveals how many development projects they have helped finance all over the world. The question for this competition is, “What is that number?

Each of these companies has a film and you can get the answer from the 4 short videos on this page. Simple!
