The Best of Computex 2024!

The KitGuru team has returned to UK shores after a week in Taipei covering as much as humanly possible at Computex this week. As we wrap up our final pieces of coverage, we thought it would be fun to put together a best-of, so if you want a breakdown of all the best moments from the week, this is the one to watch.

Accompanying the video is a quick message from KitGuru founder, Allan Campbell:

“The KitGuru team flew to Taipei on May 31st to check out some of the latest tech from Computex 2024.

Over the last week we have worked across multiple time zones to try and bring the best coverage we could. We brought tons of equipment for footage and with an action packed schedule tried to show you some of the best cases, coolers, motherboard, graphics cards, laptops, monitors and gadgets we could find.

It wasn't all smooth sailing – the background noise and music at some of the events (Thermaltake and ACER in particular) was problematic and we had to spend some time playing around with voice isolation filtering, so you could actually hear Dominic and Leo.

It wasn't helped with the fact that I was editing a lot of these videos from a laptop in a clinic due to health issues and I had to take down several of the videos when I noticed mistakes that I made. Apologies to comments and feedback we lost due to this. My bad. Was working on a laptop penance enough?

Of course a special shout out to Rosie, Leo and Dominic for the incredible work they put in, above and beyond the call of duty.

We appreciate your support across the last week, and thanks to all the friendly and supportive people we met at the events. Also special thanks to the company representatives who went out of their way to show us some love (in no order) – Sapphire, Montech, Seasonic, bequiet!, G.Skill, Silverstone, Lian Li, Corsair, NZXT, Antec, Phanteks, Fractal, Thermaltake, MSI, Alphacool, Acer, Netac, Sharkoon and Gamdias.

I get a little tired seeing media awards for products they haven't even tested sitting on desks at Computex so I thought we would do something silly today to sign off. We hope you enjoyed it all – until next year …

Best,
Allan Campbell – KitGuru Editor In Chief/Founder”
