Work for KitGuru: We’re looking for an additional weekend news writer

Hello KitGuru readers! We are currently looking to expand our news team with an additional writer. This is a paid part time position for someone who is able to commit a few hours over the weekend to create news articles.

Prior experience working for another website isn't required but all applicants will need to submit a couple of example news stories so we can see if you would be a good fit. The ability to adapt to the KitGuru editorial style and a strong grasp of the English language is crucial. Example stories should also be kept around the 250-300 word mark.

The successful applicant will end up working with me, so there is some team work involved. However, you will need to be self-motivated as this is a ‘work from home' job. You will need to contribute to sourcing news stories and be capable of taking on an assigned story here and there.

If you think you are up to the challenge, then please send a CV along with two example news stories over to me at ‘[email protected]' with the subject line ‘News Application'. I look forward to hearing from you!

KitGuru Says: Myself and a few other members of the team started out as avid KitGuru readers. If you think you could be a valuable addition to the team, then please don't hesitate in applying. We look forward to hearing some fresh voices!
