10 years on from the launch of the last mainline Metal Gear Solid title, Konami is celebrating the franchise with a UK-based orchestral concert later this year.

With the Metal Gear Solid series finally coming back, Konami have commented on why they have chosen to now revive the IP after a decade-long hiatus.

Ahead of the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid Delta, Konami has revealed they plan to “preserve the Metal Gear series for 10 or 50 years into the future.”
