Intel has recently told their notebook partners that they plan to reduce the production of Celeron CPU's and will replace this range with Pentium and dual core Atom N processors.
This is going to take place in 2011 according to sources in the Far East. This would tie in with Intel's plans to release Atom N processors in the third quarter of 2010 as they will not want competiting products within their own ranges.
The Atom N processors are due to be priced in accordance with current Celeron chips.

Good riddance is all I can say
