AMD will reportedly launch new Ryzen 7000 CPUs on January 10th

Currently, AMD is expected to announce a few new Ryzen 7000 desktop CPUs at CES 2023, including the first non-X SKUs. According to new reports, these chips will be available pretty soon after the announcement. 

Plenty of rumours claim AMD will announce new Ryzen 7000 chips at CES 2023, including SKUs for laptops, the first 3D V-Cache (X3D) models and new non-X desktop processors. Out of these three, it seems the non-X processors will be the first to release, according to Wccftech. Less than a week after the announcement, on January 10th, AMD will reportedly launch the Ryzen 7000 non-X CPUs.

From what we know, the Ryzen 7000 non-X chips include the Ryzen 5 7600, the Ryzen 7 7700 and the Ryzen 9 7900. All these chips will come with the same core configuration as their “X” counterparts. However, clock speeds and TDP should be lower.

Logically, the three chips are set to be cheaper than the “X” models. The usual price for the Ryzen 5 7600X is $299, and it is expected that the Ryzen 5 7600 will enter the market at under $250. However, right now the savings won't be as great, as AMD currently has active discounts on its available Ryzen 7000 processors for the holiday season.
