AMD Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 9 7900 begin appearing at retailers

While AMD hasn't officially announced its new Ryzen 7000 CPUs, all signs are pointing to an early 2023 launch for the first non-X chips. We now have further evidence of this, as the upcoming processors are now being listed at retail sites. 

The listings were spotted by @momomo_us on PC21.fr, a French retailer focusing on the PC market. In the listings, you'll see two systems equipped with the Ryzen 9 7900 and Ryzen 7 7700, but AMD should also release a Ryzen 5 7600 model.

According to the listings, the Ryzen 7 7700 will pack eight cores and sixteen threads with a 3.6GHz base clock. The listing suggests the Ryzen 9 7900 will feature the same base clock, but instead of an 8C/16T configuration, it features 12 cores and 24 threads. Both processors are expected to come with a 65W TDP.

The retailer expects these two systems will be available in 13 days, but it doesn't guarantee their availability. The most probable scenario is that this is an error, as AMD is expected to announce these processors at CES in January.
