We tested the peak power consumption of a NAS at the wall during a run of CrystalDiskMark 5.0.2 as this version of the benchmark runs the read and write benchmark suites separately so it's easier to monitor what power the device is using during each function.
Our review sample came with a 10GbE card installed so we did our power tests with the card left in the NAS. The CPU in the NAS has a TPW of 51Watts, so that, together with a dual port 10GbE card isn't going to make the unit particularly frugal when it comes to it power draw.
