ioSafe 216 2-Bay NAS Review

Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives, SSD’s and other storage devices. We are using V3.0.3.

With just 512MB of memory and a fairly low powered CPU, the speed of the ioSafe 216 when dealing with small bity files isn't going to set any records. Having said that, the NAS is pretty consistent between both reads and writes across the arrays.

  3. I have a question: how would this unit perform in streaming files, like decoding and watching a movie? would it be able to handle 4K videos as well? what about VR staffs?
