It would be impossible to try and touch-type on the HTPC keyboard due to the small size of the keys. The design of the keyboard makes it much more appropriate to type using the two-thumb method. All the keys are within easy reach of two thumbs and have a light action which makes it easy to type with a reasonable speed.
Overall we are quite impressed by the design of the HTPC keyboard as it offers everything we could ask for but, unfortunately, the build quality is questionable at best. The left and right mouse buttons on the underside of the unit are a prime example of this as the right button functions fine but the left button is mushy and can be difficult to activate without applying a lot of force. Also, the materials used for the top half of the keyboard feel very cheap, especially the glossy plastic that surrounds all the controls.
For those who are planning to use their HTPC for more than light browsing and media playback, we would recommend considering the larger Xebec Tech iTouchpad Diamond keyboard instead as it features a full-size keyboard that will allow you to type with greater ease.
The Xebec Tech Mini HTPC Keyboard can be yours for a price of £34 at Aria.co.uk. We feel that this is a little pricey considering that you can purchase a full size HTPC keyboard for a similar amount. But for those who are looking for a compact HTPC keyboard, it seems like reasonable value compared to the Logitech Dinovo Mini which would set you back over £70.

KitGuru says: A well designed product, let down only by shoddy build quality.
It certainly does look like a console gamepad. Logitech make a nice version of this, but it looks smaller and is piano black.
I bought one of these a month ago and its ok, but as the reviewer said I wouldnt try typing much on it, as the keys are very small. its fine for light web browsing and renaming media folders.
Only problem ive experienced is that the signal sometimes loses connection for a few moments, im not sure if its due to my wireless router being close by and interfering with the signal.
Did you have the problem henry?
