Adobe release Photoshop Touch for iPad

iPad users will be happy to hear that Adobe have released a cut down version of their award winning image editing software package Photoshop for the Apple mobile device.

Photoshop Touch, is the tablet version of Adobe Photoshop and it has features for applying photographic effects and to combine images in many creative ways. The software will sell for $9.99 in Apple's iTunes App Store. Adobe have planned an announcement today to mark the beginning of the Mobile World Congress which will run through to March 1st in Barcelona.

Adobe have always been PC and Macintosh based, but are seeing a much wider audience for their software with the popularity of mobile devices in the last year. They are also planning a range of programs for the HTML 5 programming language and for the cloud oriented audience.

Adobe never managed to get their Flash software natively supported on the Apple iPad, but other companies have worked ways around the limitations in recent months.

Kitguru says: have you tried the software yet? how do you rate it?
