Corsair IronClaw RGB Wireless Mouse Review

Rating: 9.0.

Earlier this year Corsair released the IronClaw RGB gaming mouse, and at the time we said it was a great option if you want a larger, ergonomic design. The new IronClaw RGB Wireless takes that same core design but does away with the braided cable, in favour of not only a Bluetooth connection but also Corsair's 2.4GHz Slipstream wireless technology. Coming in £15 more expensive than its wired counterpart, the new IronClaw RGB Wireless is available for £69.95, but does the overall package justify that higher price?

Pros:

  • Comfortable, ergonomic shape.
  • Still relatively lightweight for a large wireless mouse.
  • Wireless technology works really well.
  • Well positioned programmable buttons.
  • Three extra buttons compared to the original IronClaw.

Cons:

  • Scroll wheel still feels a little wooly.
  • A clearer indication of battery life would be appreciated.

KitGuru Says: The Corsair IronClaw RGB Wireless retains the same comfortable, ergonomic shape as its predecessor, making it perfect for those who prefer a palm grip. Adding both Corsair's 2.4GHz Slipstream wireless technology alongside extra customisable buttons for the new price of £69.95 makes it a no brainer for users with larger hands.
