Sony announces limited edition Concord DualSense controller

While Microsoft are known to produce many custom Xbox Series X|S controllers based on its various IP, Sony has mostly stayed away from the practice. It is therefore interesting to see the console manufacturer announce a special limited edition Concord controller.

Making the announcement on their Twitter, the official Concord page revealed the rather cool-looking limited edition DualSense controller, saying: “A vibrant controller for a vibrant universe. The DualSense Wireless Controller – Concord Limited Edition will be available for players in the U.S.”

It is currently unknown whether the Concord DualSense will also be made available elsewhere, though with it being sold through PlayStation’s Direct store, hopefully the controller also comes to other regions in which PS Direct operates.

Being a limited edition item, the controller is slightly more costly when compared to a standard DualSense, retailing for $84.99 vs the standard $69.99.

Though interest surrounding Concord seems low, it would appear as though Sony are doing all they can to bring awareness to the upcoming PvP hero shooter.
