Xtrfy launches M42 gaming mouse weighing just 59g

Xtrfy has been working on ‘Project 4' for a while now, a codename for the company's fourth generation of gaming peripherals. Today, a new mouse is launching out of this – the Xtrfy M42, hoping to take on the lightweight mouse market.

The Xtrfy M42 weighs just 59g, making it even lighter than the previous M4 mouse while also including swappable mouse shells, so you can adjust the symmetrical shape based on your preference.

As you would expect from a modern gaming mouse, RGB lighting is included. Under the hood, you will also find a Pixart 3389 sensor for tracking. Speaking about this mouse, Xtrfy CTO, Erik Jensen said:

“The M42 is built on the principle that lower weight must never mean lower quality. It doesn’t matter how light your mouse is if it can’t withstand heavy daily use. With a construction that’s engineered to minimize weight while retaining durability, the M42 is made to last”.

The Xtrfy M42 gaming mouse will be available starting in December, priced at $59.

KitGuru Says: Are many of you shopping around for a new lightweight gaming mouse? Will you be keeping an eye out for the new Xtrfy M42?
