Vaxee launches ultra low-latency Zygen NP-01S wireless gaming mouse

Following the success of the Zygen NP-01S wired gaming mouse, Vaxee is now introducing a wireless variant of the same mouse. Like the original model, the NP-01S Wireless was designed by Zygen founder Junya “noppo” Taniguchi, retaining the same aesthetics, form, and button feel.

Using Vaxee's exclusive wireless technology, which has been developed in collaboration with PixArt, the Zygen NP-01S Wireless mice are almost as reliable and responsive as a wired gaming mouse with standard mode enabled. Enabling competitive mode further enhances wireless transmission, bringing its performance even closer to that of a wired mouse. Moreover, due to its anti-interference ability, signals can be retransmitted up to 3 times within 1ms and achieve a stable 1000Hz polling rate.

Other highlight features of the Zygen NP-01S Wireless include the mechanical encoder on the mouse wheel, a two-stage adjustable LOD (0.5–1 mm and 1.0 – 1.5 mm), and a non-symmetrical design for “unrestricted wrist angles”. Additionally, it's also known to pack a PAW3395 sensor and weigh 68 or 69g. Fully charged, the NP-01S Wireless can last up to 100 hours in standard mode and 55 hours in competitive mode. The battery takes 1 hour and 50 minutes to charge completely. Out of the box, the mouse packs two 0.6-mm mouse skates, but you can buy 0.45-mm ones separately. Lastly, this mouse allows you to quickly switch between two devices, but you'll need an additional 2.4G receiver for that.

Due to Vaxee's commitment to quality control, the production capacity for the Zygen NP-01S Wireless is limited. To ensure that those interested in getting one are not disappointed, the company is planning to start shipping the mice by colour groups. Initially, the available stock will consist of blue- and orange-coloured variants (already being shipped). The other four colours will be available for pre-order, with yellow and pink variants being shipped starting June 30th and white and black mice on July 3rd. To streamline the process and avoid duplicating queues, both in-stock items and pre-orders will be available for purchase simultaneously. The Zygen NP-01S wireless costs $119.99/€139.99.

KitGuru says: Have you ever tried a Zygen gaming mouse? The NP-01S Wireless does look to be trying something a bit different with its shape and colour options.
