Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 recently got a 4KHz polling rate upgrade via G Hub

Last year, Logitech released its G Pro X Superlight 2 wireless gaming mouse with high hopes of outperforming its 2020 model. Although considered overall better than its predecessor, its polling rate didn't match similarly priced competitors.

Logitech (via TechPowerUp) has some great news for Pro X Superlight 2 users. Their most recent G HUB software update now includes a new firmware update for the mouse that will improve the polling rate to 4KHz. After updating the firmware, you may use your existing wireless dongle to use the Superlight with a 4K polling rate by enabling it via G Hub.

A November 2023 leak had already suggested that Logitech was working on a new firmware update for the Superlight 2, which would include a 4K polling rate setting. The company has now fulfilled that promise, and users can enjoy the benefits of this significant upgrade.

In addition to adding support for a 4K polling rate to the Superlight 2, the latest G Hub update also introduces firmware updates to the G Astro A50 X, MX Brio, and MX Brio 705, as well as various bug fixes, including the issue with audio devices producing noise suddenly. Moreover, it also added support for Windows Copilot as an assignable command and introduced game profiles for:

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Helldivers 2
  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
  • Once Human
  • Palworld
  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
  • Tekken 8
  • The Finals
  • Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader
