Logitech G introduces the Pro X Superlight wireless esports gaming mouse

Logitech G has announced its lightest wireless esports gaming mouse yet. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight sets a “new standard reference for the world’s elite esports professionals” by using Logitech's Lightspeed wireless technology, the company's Hero 25K sensor, and a refined ergonomic design to increase movement precision.

Field-tested by multiple esports players from teams such as Astralis and G2 Esports, the Pro X Superlight mouse has “earned a reputation for unrivalled quality and performance amongst the world’s leading esports professionals”. Professional esports players such as s1mple and bENITA claim that the Pro X Superlight gaming mouse allows them to perform at their peak thanks to its reduced weight and accuracy.

The new Pro X Superlight improves on the original Pro model by reducing weight by 25%, bringing it down to 63g. Featuring Logitech's 2.4 GHz Lightspeed wireless technology, the Pro X Superlight mouse has up to 70 hours of battery life. Additionally, Logitech added large zero-additive PTFE feet to reduce friction and increase speed, precision and manoeuvrability while gaming.

The Hero 25K sensor employed in the Pro X Superlight mouse is capable of tracking “movement at the sub-micron level”, equivalent to a 1/50th of the thickness of a human hair. Capable of tracking up to 25,600 DPI, the Hero 25K sensor uses a smart power management system that automatically adjusts frame rates according to the mouse's movement, reducing the power consumption even at high DPI settings.

Chris Pate, portfolio manager for Logitech G Pro series, stated that the company has pushed itself by combining an advanced set of features into a super lightweight design as the one used in the Pro X Superlight.
