Mad Catz R.A.T 8+ ADV is coming to stores soon

Just a couple of weeks ago, Mad Catz launched the R.A.T PRO X3 Supreme Edition gaming mouse, touted as the company’s best gaming mouse yet. Now, Mad Catz has revealed that its new R.A.T. 8+ ADV High-Performance Gaming Mouse will be hitting the stores soon.

The Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ ADV High-Performance Gaming Mouse is another product from the company’s flagship range which includes a wealth of premium features such as customisable components and technologies designed to make competitive gamers become the best at their game.

Mad Catz has outfitted the R.A.T. 8+ ADV High-Performance Gaming Mouse with a top-of-the-range Pixart PWM 3389 PRO optical sensor, capable of 20,000 DPI, movement speed of 400 inches per second with 50G of acceleration and a 2000 Hz polling rate. To ensure the mouse is highly durable and won’t let you down during intense battles, the R.A.T. 8+ ADV features Zippy switches with a life expectancy of over 60 million clicks.

A key feature of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ ADV mouse is its unique customisation options. The R.A.T. 8+ ADV can be customised physically with adjustable parts such as the thumb rest and palm rest for maximum comfort, as well as software adjustments of sensitivity, DPI, button configuration, RGB lighting effects and complex macro commands programmed to any of the controls. All this is wrapped in a stylish looking glossy red outer casing.

The R.A.T. 8+ ADV features an ergonomic right-handed shape, it is designed to fit a universal grip style and measures 119mm x 88mm x 39mm (L x W X H). Out of the box, the mouse weighs 157g which sounds heavy by today's standards, it also includes removable weights and extra accessories such as a palm rest, two pinkie rests and the 1.8m long cable is equipped with a premium braided fibre sleeving.
