Philips introduces new Momentum 4K/144Hz and QHD/240Hz gaming monitors

Philips is expanding its premium Momentum 5000 line of gaming monitors. The new Momentum F5800 sports a Nano IPS 4K panel with 144Hz refresh rate, making it a perfect fit for a high-end setup. If you need a little more speed from your monitor, then you can also find the momentum F5500P, which sports QHD resolution at 240Hz.

Both the Philips 27M1F5800 and the 27M1F5500P have 27-inch Nano IPS panels, but the resolution differs. The former is the 4K/144Hz model, while the latter is 1440p/240Hz. Both panels have the same rated peak brightness and are DisplayHDR 600 certified, so you can take your visuals up another level in supported games.

Aside from high resolutions and refresh rates, as well as HDR, these new Momentum monitors also support AMD FreeSync Premium, so you can have a tear-free, smooth gaming experience. Both monitors also ship with a SmartErgoBase, with tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment capabilities.

The Philips Momentum 27M15500P and 27M1F5800 will be available starting in June, priced at £529.99 and £629.99 respectively.
