Zowie is expanding its competitive gaming monitor lineup with the XL2546X+. This esports-focused display boasts a 280Hz refresh rate, next-gen DyAc 2 technology, and a host of features designed to give players a competitive advantage.
Building on the success of the XL-X+ series, the XL2546X+ feature a Fast-TN panel that can achieve a 280Hz refresh rate, a 40Hz bump over the original XL2546X. This translates to incredibly smooth motion and reduced input lag, which is crucial for fast-paced FPS gaming. The panel offers a typical brightness of 320 nits
Besides the faster refresh rate, the new monitor also features Zowie's new DyAc 2 technology. This enhanced version of their motion blur reduction technology uses dual backlights with precise control to deliver even clearer motion clarity and sharper image quality. DyAc 2 promises to minimise ghosting and motion blur, allowing for more precise target tracking and visual clarity.
The XL2546X+ is packed with features tailored to gamers, including an Auto Game Mode that automatically switches colour modes between different games and applications. Other features include Black eQualizer, Low Blue Light mode, and Color Vibrance. The XL2546X+ also features a robust height-adjustable stand that allows tilt and swivel. Alternatively, you can mount it to a VESA 100×100 monitor arm. Connectivity-wise, there are 3x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DP 1.2 interface and a headphone jack.
