LG’s new 4K OLED monitor allows you to switch between 4K/120Hz and FHD/480Hz

LG has recently revealed its latest line of UltraGear OLED gaming displays. Among the new additions to the portfolio is the 32GS95UE 4K gaming monitor, the first LG 4K gaming monitor to feature LG's new Dual-Hz feature that lets you switch between 4K at 240Hz and FHD at 480Hz. The company is also unveiling a few other monitors, including the 39GS95QE and the 34GS95QE, which won the CES 2024 Innovation Award.

The 32GS95UE is the first UltraGear monitor to feature the new Dual-Hz technology, which allows users to select between 4K (3840×2160) at 240Hz and Full-HD (1920×1080) at 480Hz with a single click. This time-saving innovation is accessible via a hotkey or joystick's directional switch, enabling users to quickly apply the best screen resolution and refresh rate combinations for the game genre they're playing. In addition to this feature, the 32-inch UltraGear OLED has a 0.03ms (GtG) response time, which helps eliminate motion blur, improves clarity, and offers dynamic gaming.

LG's 4-sided borderless design produces an impressive display that does not detract from the action. With Pixel Sound technology, an integrated front-facing sound system with two woofers and DTS Virtual:X support, the monitor provides an immersive 3D audio experience. The speakers are effectively hidden beneath the OLED display, eliminating the need for external speakers and saving desk space.

The 34-inch 34GS95QE and its larger sibling, the 39-inch 39GS95QE, have 800R-curved OLED panels with a resolution of 3440×1440. Winners of the CES 2024 Innovation Award, these panoramic displays also feature LG's Anti-Glare and Low Reflection Coating, a 4-side borderless design, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a response time of 0.03ms (GtG).

The newest LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitors also feature the innovative Unity Hexagonal design back cover that blends stylish aesthetics with efficient cable management. Introducing the “L” stand on the new models provides ergonomic benefits, stability, and space savings. In addition to tilt, height, pivot, and swivel adjustment, the stand has a smaller footprint than the V-shaped stand from 2023, freeing up space on your desk. The elegant and practical stand allows installation flexibility and adds to the monitors' modern appearance.

LG's 2024 UltraGear OLED gaming monitor portfolio includes two 45-inch displays and a 27-inch monitor (models 45GS95QE, 45GS96QB, and 27GS95QE). These improved versions of the 45GR95QE and 27GR95QE are based on their predecessors, featuring pretty much the same specs, including 240Hz refresh rates, 1440p resolution, 0.03ms response time, and OLED panels. Furthermore, all three models are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified.
