Evnia introduces two new 240Hz+ Full HD monitors

Full HD gaming monitors are still relevant nowadays. If you want a +200Hz refresh rate monitor but are on a tight budget, an FHD monitor is likely the best option. As such, Philips has announced two new Evnia monitors that could be of interest.

The new Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W and the Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P have been designed with gamers in mind, providing considerably high refresh rates of 240Hz and 280Hz, respectively. This ensures that even the most intense action sequences remain ultra-fast and ultra-smooth, with clear, accurate images free of juddering and ghosting.

Depending on your preference, the Evnia monitors come with a 24.5-inch VA (25M2N3200W) or IPS (25M2N5200P) panel and pixel response times as low as 1ms GtG. Both monitors have 1080p resolution, 178/178 wide viewing angles, and an 8-bit colour depth. They also come equipped with SmartImage HDR modes, providing optimal colour, brightness, and contrast. The Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P also has a USB hub and features such as MBR Sync, DarkBoost, and Smart Crosshair.

The ergonomic stand on both monitors is height-adjustable, with swivel, tilt, and pivot functions to provide the best comfort for extended playing sessions. Additionally, the monitors come with LowBlue mode and Flicker-Free technology, which reduce eye strain and fatigue, ensuring gamers can play without discomfort.

The Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W and the Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P will be available from mid-May 2023, priced at £179.99 and £269.99.
