AOC’s latest QHD monitor offers HDR and 260Hz gaming

AOC is expanding its monitor lineup with a new 27-inch gaming monitor. Featuring a similar design to other AOC monitors, this model stands out with its 260Hz refresh rate, giving gamers an edge regarding how many frames it can display in a single second.

With a 27-inch IPS screen, QHD resolution, and a refresh rate of up to 260Hz, the AOC Q27G3ZN will allow you to enjoy your favourite games with stunning clarity and smoothness. The display also boasts a native 8-bit colour depth, covering 99% of the sRGB and 92% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces. The monitor is also DisplayHDR 400 certified, offering over 400 nits of peak brightness for better highlights and colour range in supported games.

The AOC Q27G3ZN also has a 1ms GTG or 0.5ms MPRT response times. To further tune your viewing experience, the AOC Q27G3ZN boasts many gaming features, including AOC's G-Menu, MBR, Low Input Lag, Shadow Control, Game Modes, and Game Color.

In addition, the ergonomic stand offers bi-directional pivot, -5 to 23 degrees of tilt, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and up to 130mm of height adjustment, allowing you to find the perfect viewing position. Connectivity options are also quite good, with two HDMI 2.0 connections, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack for communication. If you're an AMD user, you'll be happy to know that the AOC Q27G3ZN is AMD FreeSync Premium certified with Adaptive-Sync technology, ensuring tear-free gaming.

KitGuru says: Although it will have plenty of competition in its tier, most of them don't have the 260Hz refresh rate. If the higher refresh rate is what matters the most to you, this monitor could be worth considering.
