AOC unveils two new monitors, including a 49in 32:9 model

AOC has added two new entries to its AOC's AGON gaming lineup. There's the AGON AG493UCX, a 49-inch curved monitor that comes with a 32:9 aspect ratio, and the AGON AG323QCXE, a 32-inch curved monitor with a WQHD resolution.

The AOC AGON AG493UCX has a 1800R curvature and uses a VA panel with a 5120 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT. The VA panel covers 93% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut (121% sRGB and 102% NTSC) and has a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 550cd/m² maximum brightness, 16.7m colour depth, and 178º viewing angles. This monitor comes with adaptive sync support to use on both Nvidia and AMD systems, as well as MBR (Motion Blur Reduction) backlight technology according to TFT Central.

Out of the box, the screen comes calibrated with a deltaE <2. The available ports include 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB Type-C, 3x USB3.2 Gen1, and an audio jack. There are also 2x 5W built-in speakers.

The stand can tilt (5º-15º), swivel (± 15.5º) and is height adjustable (100mm). This monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and comes with VESA 100mm x 100mm wall mount support, and a remote controller to navigate through the OSD.

Regarding the AOC AGON AG323QCXE, it uses the same VA technology as the AG493UCX in a 1500R panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 144Hz, and the same MPRT spec (1ms). This panel covers 120% of the sRGB colour gamut (91% DCI-P3 and 99% NTSC) and has a maximum brightness of 550cd/m², a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a colour depth of 16.7m, and 178/178 viewing angles. Just like the AG493UCX, it uses both adaptive sync support and uses an MBR backlight system.

This monitor also comes factory calibrated with a deltaE <2, and has 2x 5W built-in speakers, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0, 4x USB3.2 Gen1, and 2x audio jacks, one as audio output and the other for the microphone.

The stand is similar to the one from the AG493UCX, as it can swivel (± 15.5º),  tilt (5º-15º), and is height adjustable (100mm). The wall mount support is VESA 100mm x 100mm, and the monitor is also certified VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.
