AOC launches ten new business-oriented P2 monitors

AOC is set to expand its portfolio of business-focused monitors with ten new models. Varying in size from 21.5 to 34 inches, the new P2 series of monitors is aimed at professional users and consists of nine flat IPS models and one curved VA model, with a focus on colour reproduction, wide colour gamut coverage and viewing angles.

Featuring a 3-side borderless design, a “dark, brushed finish in the lower bezel”, and an elegant stand, AOC claims the P2 monitors are perfect for multi-monitor setups. Mounting and disassembling the stand is tool-free and easy to do thanks to the quick release switch. There's also built-in cable management features resulting in a  cleaner desk setup. Ergonomic features include height adjustment of up to 150mm, tilt (-5~35°), swivel (180°) and pivot (90°), excluding the ultrawide CU34P2A.

All the 21.5-inch, 23.8-inch, and 27-inch models have IPS panels covering up to 123.3% of the sRGB colour gamut, and 90.9% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The ten P2 series monitors feature 178/178° wide viewing angles to reduce brightness and colour shift. The 1080p models (22P2DU, 22P2Q, 24P2C, 24P2Q, 27P2C and 27P2Q) and the Q24P2Q (1440p resolution) offer 250nits of brightness, the QHD Q27P2Q is rated for 300nits of brightness, and the 4K U27P2 is rated at 350 nits brightness. Most of the screens have 4ms response time, 75Hz refresh rate and FreeSync support, but with a few exceptions. The Q24P2Q doesn't have FreeSync support, the U27P2 has a 60Hz refresh rate, and the CU34P2A has 1ms response time.

The CU34P2A stands out from its peers with a curved (1500R) VA panel with a resolution of 3440x1440p, in a 21:9 aspect ratio, and 100Hz refresh rate. With the characteristic high contrast of VA panels, 300 nits of brightness, alongside the resolution and refresh rate of, the CU34P2A is perfectly suited for both work and gaming.

Regarding connectivity, there are a wide variety of ports on the P2 series monitors. Most models include VGA, DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI ports, 4-port USB 3.2 hubs, USB uplink port, and 2x 2W speakers, while the 24P2C and the 27P2C have an additional USB Type-C port with Display Port alternate mode. Additionally, the built-in KVM switch on the P2 monitors allows the user to switch the connected mouse and keyboard between different sources with ease.

All P2 monitors have EnergyStar 8, TCO 8 and EPEAT Gold certification. Additionally, these models also feature Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies to reduce the user's eye strain during longer periods of use.
