Alienware unveils 360Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor at TwitchCon

Alienware is expanding its roster of OLED gaming monitors soon. At TwitchCon last week, the Dell-owned brand unveiled two new QD-OLED displays, including its first 360Hz monitor.

According to Alienware (via TFTcentral), the spec sheets are still incomplete but we'll run with what we know so far. Starting with the AW3225QF, this monitor looks to feature a curved panel, distinguishing itself from the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM and the Dough Spectrum Black 32. The curvature is noticeable but not too much, leading us to believe it would be around 1800R–1900R. Moreover, we know the panel will have a 3840×2160 resolution and a native refresh rate of 240Hz. It will also be Nvidia G-Sync compatible and will support AMD Freesync.

There's also the new 27-inch AW2725DF, which has a 2560×1440 resolution and a refresh rate of 360Hz. Unlike the AW3225QF, this one has a flat screen. It will also have a QD-OLED panel and support Adaptive-Sync (Nvidia G-Sync compatible and AMD Freesync). This model is geared towards esports and competitive gaming, and it has a smaller base design to accommodate multiple keyboards and mice when gaming.

The Alienware representative said the displays will be released in early January 2024, so there's a good chance we hear more about these two monitors at CES 2024.
