Razer revamps its keyboard line-up with BlackWidow V3

The Razer BlackWidow has a long standing history of being one of the best gaming keyboards around. This week, the BlackWidow V3 is launching, bringing new enhancements, as well as a new ten keyless model for those who prefer extra desk space over having a numpad.

The Razer BlackWidow V3 and the BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless comes with tougher keycaps, brighter RGB lighting and a longer lifespan. You get a choice of either Razer Green (clicky, tactile) or Razer Yellow (silent, linear) mechanical switches. Doubleshot ABS keycaps are placed on top and you'll find brighter Razer Chroma RGB lighting, dedicated media keys and an ergonomic wrist rest.

Razer's mechanical switches are now built with extra side walls to aid in stability. This extra addition also boosts the switch lifespan to 80 million keystrokes. The doubleshot ABS keycaps should also do away with wear and tear on your keyboard lettering over time. Here is the full spec/feature list for the BlackWidow V3:

  • Razer Mechanical Switches designed for gaming
  • 80 million keystroke lifespan
  • Razer Chroma RGB customizable backlighting with 16.8 million color options
  • Doubleshot ABS Keycaps
  • Ergonomic wrist rest
  • Multi-function digital roller
  • Dedicated media key
  • Hybrid On-Board Memory and Cloud Storage – up to 5 profiles
  • Razer Synapse 3 enabled
  • Cable routing options
  • N-key roll-over
  • Fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording
  • Gaming mode option
  • 1000 Hz Ultrapolling
  • Aluminium construction

The BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless has all the same features, but it misses out on the dedicated media keys due to its smaller formfactor. Naturally, there is also no numpad.

The Razer BlackWidow V3 is available starting today for €149.99. The Tenkeyless version is also available starting today, priced at €109.99.
