Glorious Model O 2 Pro and Model D 2 Pro Mice Review

Rating: 8.0.

Glorious are aiming to cater for everyone with the Model O 2 Pro and Model D 2 Pro, with the former being a symmetrical design, while the latter features an ergonomic shape. Both models are lightweight and available in two versions…one which is capable of polling at 1000Hz and another which pushes that up to a massive 8000Hz when using a cable, or 4000Hz when going wireless. Can these new gaming mice deliver performance when it matters, and does having a high polling rate make much of a difference in the real world?

Pros:

  • Lightweight.
  • Good battery life.
  • Responsive.
  • Ergonomic or symmetrical shape available for the same price.

Cons:

  • 8000Hz polling needs specific criteria other than the mouse to be fully utilised.
  • Too much pre-travel on left and right click.

KitGuru says: The Model D 2 Pro and Model O 2 Pro are both good mice. The Model D 2 Pro in particular impressed with its ergonomic design, which provides a really comfortable experience. Build quality is ok across both models but is let down slightly by a small amount of button pre-travel before left and right click switch actuation.
