Sharkoon’s latest Pure Writer keyboard launches with Kailh V2 Choc switches

Sharkoon has made plenty of great gaming keyboards over the years but it also has a line up typist-focused keyboards too. This week, the company is debuting the new Pure Writer W65, offering a compact and wireless 65% keyboard, with all of the benefits of a tactile mechanical switch.

The Sharkoon Pure Writer W65 comes with Kailh V2 Choc low-profile mechanical switches. The Brown switch option is a tactile switch, offering a physical actuation point that you feel on each key press, but without the audible click associated with blue mechanical switches. If you prefer a linear switch with no tactile feedback, then a Kailh V2 Choc Red switch option is also available.

For wireless connectivity, the keyboard has 2.4GHz wireless and a USB-C port so you can wire the keyboard up instead. There is also a physical switch that you can use to swap between Windows and Mac modes.

Designed to be portable, the Pure Writer W65 measures in at just 31.2 x 10.3 centimetres and weighs in at 432g. The keyboard also has RGB LEDs, so you can set up different lighting configurations, effects and colours.

The Sharkoon Pure Writer W65 is available in black or white, priced at €89.90.
