Sharkoon launches PureWriter White RGB full-size and TKL mechanical keyboards

Sharkoon is revamping its keyboard line-up for 2022. This week, the company announced the new PureWriter RGB White keyboard, available in two different models, a three-block version with a full numpad and dedicated media keys, and a TKL version for those who prefer a smaller footprint on their desk.

The three-block version comes with four additional multimedia keys above the number pad for easy control. Users can also choose between two Kailh switch types – Kail Choc Red (linear, non-clicky) and Kailh Choc Blue (Tactile, audible click). The red switches have a shorter actuation distance of 1.5mm, making them a popular choice for gamers, while blue switches are often preferred by those who spent a lot of time typing.

The height of the key caps is 6.2 millimetres, which should be more ergonomic and comfortable to use at home or in the office. Users can configure the RGB lighting without software too, using function shortcuts to switch effects, adjust brightness or make changes to colours.

The Sharkoon PureWriter RGB ships with a detachable USB Micro-B cable. The full-size version will be available for €84.90 and the TKL version will be available for €74.90.
